Environmental Compliance Specialist

This role is ideal for someone with experience in environmental compliance, permitting, wastewater, oil & gas operations, or regulatory coordination who enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and environmental teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track and manage environmental permits, registrations, and regulatory deadlines
• Support water management, treatment, and disposal compliance activities
• Coordinate environmental reporting and documentation efforts
• Assist with spill remediation oversight and environmental site cleanup coordination
• Maintain compliance records, permit documentation, and regulatory correspondence
• Monitor environmental regulatory updates impacting operations
• Support internal audits, inspections, and environmental compliance reviews
• Interface with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and operational teams as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of environmental compliance, permitting, or regulatory coordination experience
• Familiarity with TCEQ, RRC, EPA, or environmental reporting processes
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and compliance deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of environmental compliance, permitting, or regulatory coordination experience
• Familiarity with TCEQ, RRC, EPA, or environmental reporting processes
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and compliance deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience:
• Oil & gas, produced water, SWD, or industrial water treatment environments
